Last weekend we went for a walk in the desert behind our house. It was raining a little bit lately that's why there were actually some flowers blooming. Normally everything is just an ugly brown and there is only tumbleweed rolling around, but right now it actually looks really pretty. The colors on my picture are not even slightly the colors of how it really looks. The sad thing is that a lot of people dump things that they don't need anymore in the desert, so we walked by a lot of old couches and destroyed cars. I am glad I didn't go alone, I don't think I would have found back, everything looks the same here. 
Last week I also cut myself by accident on a broken glass while cleaning the dishes. So I had to go to the emergency room where I had to wait for four hours to get stiches. On Tuesday I went to the church to help serving food to homeless people.This weekend there was an airshow in Lancaster about 5 minutes from where we live. We sat on the roof and watch the jets perform. It was really cool and sometimes they were so close it was crazy.
