25.02.15: Whale-watching, San Clemente

Hey guys,
On Saturday morning we left for a short trip to San Clemente. San Clemente is a town on the coast, south to Los Angeles. When we got there we went to the pier. We didn't choose the best weekend for our trip because it was cloudy and cold, but the pier and the town were really nice. There were a lot of unique houses and stores. We even found some swings at the beach.

On Sunday we went on a boat for whale-watching. Even though we got wet from head to toe and we were freezing it totally was worth it. We saw a lot of dolphines which were chasing our boat and we saw some whales even though they mostly stayed under the water surface.

15.02.15: Track and Field

Hey guys,
I don't think I will be able to write a post regularly anymore. I am really busy with school and track and nothing  interesting is happening right now anyway. But I am still going to try to post something at least every two weeks. 

Since the beginning of january I am in the track and field team. In track and field you can choose between different kind of events you want to do. For example sprints, middle and long distance, high jump, long jump, discus or shot-put. I am not sure yet what I am going to do probably middle distance and discus. Track practice is really hard. We have 2 to 3 hours practice everyday after school. Two times a week we also have to come in the morning around 5.45 to practice before school. Even tough the practice is really hard and I am constantly tired and soar I really like it. The people are really nice and fun.

The weather is really crazy here. Sometimes we have 27°C, I already got a sunburn. It sure doesn't feel like february.
